Sonnenberg as new Anacortes election results were released Wednesday
evening. Karl Yost continues to hold a narrow lead over Bob Hyde in the
lone contested School Board race.
Mayor Dean Maxwell was relaxed as he waited at Gere-a-Deli for the first election returns, which gave him an easy 2-1 victory over challenger Steve Sonnenberg.The Yost-Hyde School Board race is too close to call.
