The Lonely Forest signs record deal

The popular Anacortes-based group The Lonely Forest has signed what looks like a major record contract with a unit of Warner Music Group. The Lonely Forest will perform in a fund-raising concert for the Trestle fund on March 26.

Residents of the Skyline area reported 35 separate vehicle prowls that were believed to have occurred between Tuesday (Feb. 23) night and Wednesday morning. All of the prowls were from unlocked vehicles and several cars were found with their doors and glove boxes left open after being prowled.

The winning boat, build here by BMW Oracle Racing, won the cup in races off Valencia, Spain earlier this month.
