An official with a federal team investigating the Tesoro Refinery fire which killed 5 workers said the fire was the size of half the length of a football field as it blossomed into the night. Robert Hall is leading the team from the Chemical Safety Board that is investigating.

The 2 surviving Tesoro workers injured in an explosion and fire on Friday are improving, according to a statement Monday by Tesoro Senior Vice-President Lynn Westfall. He said both workers are scheduled for skin replacement surgery, which he said "we take as a hopeful sign of their stability."
