Police made several arrests for drunk driving this week, between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Two of the cases involved accidents where a vehicle either flipped over or rolled onto its side.

The Washington State Ferries will operate on a winter schedule beginning Sunday, January 3, reducing the sailings between Anacortes and the San Juan Islands.
