A house about a half-mile south of Campbell Lake was destroyed by fire last weekend. Mount Erie Fire Department firefighters reported the house was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived shortly after midnight Sunday morning.

It tough going, whether driving or walking in downtown Anacortes. With at least one foot of snow on the ground, many Anacortes residents must feel snowed-in. More snow fell Sunday night, but the Monday forecast is looking a bit better.
