The third time was not the charm last week for a 51-year-old Anacortes man arrested for speeding, driving with a suspended license and without insurance. 

One inter-island ferry rider told the state ferries director "Can you find another duck to pluck?" during a  public hearing for islanders on WSF long-range plans for the ferry system.

Anacortes police are trying to identify this man, who was caught in surveillance photos this week shortly before he pulled what police called “a classic scam” on a local retailer.
