Seattle-based Anthony’s seafood restaurant chain is taking an interest in Anacortes. The chain has submitted a proposal to open a restaurant at the Cap Sante Boat Haven.  

Two peregrine falcons have returned to Mt. Erie and the city is asking climbers to avoid the southwestern face of the mountain. The voluntary closure starts this weekend.

Island Hospital has purchased the old KLKI property on Commercial for $825,000. The property had been owned by Bill Berry, who owned the radio station for 43 years.
