Island View Elementary School is hoping to receive funding for compound microscopes, drums and keyboards for music team-building and community performance, and book libraries to serve two classrooms.
Whitney Pre-School needs plant supplies for spring gardening projects, an evening family literacy program and science enhancement projects.
The cost of these projects ranges from less than $200 up to $1000. Some contributors are joining with friends to honor a friend or an occasion.
