The City Council has okayed revisions to the city’s development regulations, but postponed a decision on large-scale retail development in the commercial marine zone south of Cap Sante Marina and east of Q and R avenues.

Anacortes School District will be running two hours late on Tuesday, with all buses on adverse weather routes. There will be no out of District travel and no morning preschool or Head Start preschool.

No serious accidents were recorded over the weekend. Meanwhile, the frigid temperatures are here for at least all week, according to the National Weather Service. In fact, they may go lower at the end of the week.

All Schools - 2 hours late. All buses on Adverse weather Routes EXCEPT buses will travel in Lower Skyline area, on Satterlee Road and Sharpe Road. No AM preschool and No out of district transportation.

Light snow fell overnight Saturday night and Sunday morning, at the start of a week with temperatures never getting above freezing, according to the National Weather Service.
