The Police Blotter

When the man was stopped for speeding on Jan. 1, the officer discovered the man was driving his 2004 Ford F-150 without valid insurance and he did not have drivers license, as it had been suspended. Then, on Jan. 13, the officer stopped the truck again for speeding, and recognized the driver from the previous stop. The driver now had some outstanding traffic warrants for his arrest from the State Patrol. He was booked into jail on the warrants and was cited for his suspended license and received tickets again for speeding and not having insurance.

The man asked and received permission to leave his truck legally parked in lieu of towing the truck. But, the next morning, another police officer saw the man drive off in his truck. The man was stopped and cited again for driving with a suspended license. The truck has been impounded.
