With state Senator Kevin Ranker looking on, Anacortes Mayor Dean Maxwell addressed a crowd at the Sidney, BC, ferry terminal on the first trip of the season for the Anacortes-to-Sidney ferry. About 3 dozen Anacortes business leaders and frends made the inaugural trip of the season on Sunday.

Road rage is something you’d think of in a big city, but Anacortes Police investigated a report of the driver of one car who stopped, got out of his car and reached into a window of another car and shook the driver.
