Anacortes resident Wolf Bauer, legendary mountaineer, kayaker, environmental educator and conservationist will be honored by the Legislature for his many achievements and for his 98th birthday later this month in Olympia.

An Anacortes Police officer who was stopped behind 2 cars at a stop sign at 22nd St and M Ave watched as the lead car revved its engine, then back into the car behind it. Then it took off, prompting the officer to chase it down in an incident on Sunday, Feb. 7.
