Seventh Tesoro fire victim dies

Matt Gumbel had undergone skin graft surgery just a few hours earlier, but doctors could not stabilize his vital signs.

Trestle Fund Run attracts runners

More than 100 runners braved the cold wind Saturday morning in the final fund-raising event to pay for the repair of the Tommy Thompson trestle crossing Fidalgo Bay. A large section of the trestle was damaged by a fire of unknown origin last October.
