The city is planning to build a roundabout at 22nd St. and R Ave. It would be the second roundabout in the city, following on the heels of what the city terms a successful roundabout at Commercial Ave. and Highway 20.
The city says new stop signs and crosswalks at 32nd St. and M Ave. designed to improve pedestrian safety, particularly student safety, are causing confusion by drivers. The city says they've had complaints that some drivers stop at the stop signs when no one is in a crosswalk.
