In a daring daytime burglary, a man kicked in the door of an occupied home in the 800 block of 32nd Street at about 9:45 Thursday morning. He stole two sets of keys and a $50.00 bill before fleeing on foot.

Chief Bowers does not routinely work street patrol, but on one afternoon last week, the Chief spotted a woman with an arrest warrant in an alley behind a home on 4th Street. She contacted the woman and took her in to custody as other other officers responded to the area.
