The City Council has okayed a conditional use permit that would, eventually, allow seaplane to dock on MJB-owned property along Fidalgo Bay. MJB has a long process to go through to get state and federal approval.

A search near downtown Anacortes has turned up the body of a man who went missing from Harbor House earlier this week. The body of William Landers was located by the search team in a wooded, wetland area near Market Street, not far from where he lived. There are no signs of foul play.
