More than 50 people attended the Port’s third public forum on the future of the north and west basin areas of Cap Sante Marina. The next session will be April 8th, when the Port Commissioners meet with the City Council.
The Port has announced their expanded listing of the summer concerts scheduled at the Seafarers’ Memorial Park this summer. All concerts begin at 7 pm.

The Fire Department responded at around 8:20 Thursday morning to a fire in the basement of the Pilgrim Congregational Church on Commercial Ave. Damage is estimated in the $10,000 to $20,000 range. No injuries were reported.
An official with the Port of Anacortes says they haven't received complaints about the large number of surveillance cameras added at Cap Sante Marina. In Seattle, the installation of 30 cameras has raised concerns.
