The March Gallery Walk features new pastels by Whidbey Island artist Sandy Byers at Scott-Milo and a new collection of sculptures by Leo Osborne at Burton Jewelers. The Gallery Walk is Friday from 6 – 9 pm.

The Guemes Ferry fights high winds and tide Monday afternoon as it comes in for a landing at the Anacortes ferry terminal. Ferry service was on and off Monday because of the confluence of high winds and tides. Area airports recorded gusts to 56 miles per hour.
