Flounder Bay Cafe, Skyline's only restaurant, has closed it’s doors to regular dining, leaving only one other restaurant open on the West end of the island. Rumors of the impending closure had been circulating for a couple of months.

Farmers Market ends season run

The sun was shining at the last Farmers Market of the season on Saturday. Many of the usual vendors were missing, but there was still plenty of fresh produce from area farms. The Farmers Market will be back for two Saturdays next month with the Holiday Market.
