Police said the man pretended to use a $100 bill for a purchase, but added some one dollar bills and removed the $100 bill before the clerk had completed the transaction.
The retail business in the 900 block of Commercial caught the man’s image on their surveillance cameras. Officers are trying to identify the man. If you know him, call the Anacortes Police Department.
