2017 0608 fake bill wide

Anacortes Police are looking for this person in connection with the passing of counterfeit bills here earlier this week.

According to Anacortes Police, the subject in the attached photo passed two counterfeit $50 bills on June 6th at a grocery store in Anacortes.

The print coloring on the bills was fairly accurate, but the paper used was clearly fraudulent when compared to genuine currency. The bills also had matching serial numbers, IB23572347A. 

Retailers are advised to take special precautions when taking large denominations. Please call 911 if you identify a counterfeit.
