The US Marshals Service recieved information that a subject wanted for felony assault in Benton County was hiding in Anacortes. After a surveillance was conducted based upon information that the Marshals Service developed, Anacortes Police officers and US Marshals along with members of the Snohomish County Fugitive Task Force arrested the wanted felon in the 800 blk of 28th Street about 7:30 PM Tuesday night.
No one was injured during the arrest. Another subject who was in the same apartment was found to have a felony warrant and he was also taken in to custody and booked in to jail.
