Body found, woman held in murder case

The body of Dean Jackson, of South Fidalgo, was discovered late Monday. An autopsy showed that Jackson died by homicide but further information on the exact cause has been delayed. But, detectives say foul play was involved in Jackson's death.

Jackson's granddaughter, 24-year old Ami Morin was arrested for investigation of several counts of identity theft on Feb. 19 and is now facing a complaint of second-degree murder, but she hadn't been charged at last report. She is being held for 30-days in the case.

Meanwhile, The Sheriff's Office is looking for 32-year-old Ashlee Smith for investigation of second-degree murder and second-degree identity theft.
