Further investigation indicated that there were likely other people in the house who had warrants, including one woman who is also suspected of selling stolen jewelry to local businesses from recent burglaries.
Anacortes PD officers conducted a search of the residence and the woman was taken in to custody and booked in to the County Jail. Some stolen jewelry was recovered from her at the time of her arrest.
Another person contacted at the same house was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest on a drug possession charge. He was taken in to custody and booked in to the County Jail as well.
Chief Bowers' good observation skills on Dec. 20 led to three arrests and the recovery of stolen property. Not bad for an afternoon's work.
