City will tow violators parking near Guemes Ferry

The Police Department issued this warning, "The Police Department has received several complaints of parking issues on 6th St. near the Guemes Island Ferry. Vehicles parked on the street in excess of 72 hours will be cited and towed. There are several residential permit parking slips on the north side of 6th street east of the ferry. Unauthorized vehicles parked in those spaces will be ticketed and could be subject to impoundment. Ferry users are urged to use the ferry parking lot off “K” Ave. between 6th and 5th streets. "
