The Port of Anacortes has been actively looking for restaurant developers, hoping to get a major restaurant to anchor a new commercial building along the boardwalk south of the Port’s Cap Sante office building.
Anthony’s submitted the only viable proposal in response to the Port’s second round of development requests.
Port project manager Brady Rowe said “I just think it’s going to be a positive thing for our community.”
Anthony’s Restaurants owns and operates 24 waterfront restaurants in 19 locations throughout the Pacific Northwest. Their restaurants include Anthony’s Squalicum Harbor and Anthony’s Hearthfire Grill, also located nearby in Squalicum Harbor.
The first Anthony’s HomePort opened in 1975 in Kirkland on the Eastern shores of Lake Washington.
