High winds blew through Anacortes Saturday afternoon and evening, causing scattered power outages. The high wind seemed to peak around 3pm, with a gust of 37 miles per hour recorded at 2:50 pm at Skagit Airport in Burlington.

There were several very brief power outages around 6pm in Anacortes. Skagit Airport recorded rainfall of only .22 of an inch for the day. The day started out with sunshine and only light wind. No rain in the morning. Weather should improve Sunday and Monday morning, but more rain is expected later in the day on Monday.
