A preliminary investigation found that a car was heading west in the eastbound lanes of SR-20 when it struck another vehicle, said Trooper Heather Axtman of the State Patrol. It isn't clear why the westbound driver was on the wrong side of the road.
Eastbound lanes were reopened shortly before 4pm after being completely blocked since shortly afternoon.
