Millions of dollars in federal PPP pandemic-related loans have been approved for 48 Anacortes businesses and non-profits. 

Three businesses here received loans over $2 million including Dakota Creek Industries, Soundview Rehabilitation, and T-Bailey.

Other entities receiving at least $150,000 in federal loans: Fidalgo Pool, Anacortes Brewing, two car dealerships (each receiving between $350,000-$1 million), Majestic Inn and Gere-a-Deli.

As part of the Paycheck Protection Program, the federal government provided up to $659 billion in financial support to banks to make low-interest loans to companies and nonprofit organizations in response to the economic devastation caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
