During Monday night's City Council meeting, Mayor Gere congratulates Bret Lunsford on his appointment as Director of Anacortes Museum, replacing Steve Oakley, who retires on Dec. 1 after more than ten years.
In his application letter, Lunsford said he was qualified to step into Oakley's shoes, "My work in community history demonstrates reliable administrative practices, a passion for the mission, and a vision for planning the future of a meaningful and interactive Anacortes Museum."
