2016 1010 homecoming 600

The school district plans to sell advanced tickets only to this Friday’s Homecoming Game and opening of the new Seahawk Stadium.

The game starts at 7 pm, with a short pre-game celebration of the new stadium at 6:50 pm. Tickets went on sale Thursday Oct. 6 at the front office of the high school. Season pass holders and students with an ASB card will also be asked to get advanced tickets by presenting their pass or card at the AHS front office. No tickets will be sold at the gate.

"We're excited to welcome the community to the new stadium and to the Homecoming game against Lynden," said superintendent Mark Wenzel. "Because of an expected large turnout, we want to make sure we can operate the game safely and accommodate the crowd. As a result, we decided that a pre-sale of tickets would be the best approach."

The front office will sell tickets to the public from 7 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm on October 6, 7, 10, 11 and 12 until tickets are sold out. Interested parties are encouraged to purchase their tickets early. The new stadium has 1,500 seats.

Tickets are $6 for adults and high school students without an ASB card, $3 for seniors and elementary and middle school students. Children under age 5 are free but require an advanced ticket.
