The D Avenue Overlay Project is underway and it provides for resurfacing and road repair on D Avenue (between 37th and 17th Streets) and on 32nd street (between M and D Avenues).
Estimated Duration: Approximately four (4) Weeks, depending on weather and unforeseen conditions.
Be patient, traffic will sometimes have to wait for work to be completed; therefore, avoid driving through construction if possible.
Grinding for the next 3-4 days. Paving is scheduled for next week. Some intersections will be closed but signs will direct drivers to open and available intersections. Project is part of our new robust street maintenance program using city funds and Transportation Benefit District funds from $20 car tabs.

Lakeside is grinding pavement (taking off the top 3 inches of existing pavement) for the next 3-4 days, this is loud and somewhat dusty work. We will try to keep the dust down as well as possible. The benefit to the public is improved roads for an additional 10 to 15 years of wear without maintenance.
