Mt Erie PTA is hosting a clothing and textile drive now through Oct. 10 to support student enrichment programs.

Give your old clothes a second life by participating in our textile collection drive! We can even take single socks, ripped or torn clothing, stained shirts.

Nearly 100% of donated textiles are reused or recycled: 45% re-usable clothing (goes to shelters and thrift stores), 20% fiber conversion (single socks become car seat stuffing, ripped denim becomes household insulation), 30% wiping cloth grade (stained t-shirts, frayed towels).

Accepted Items: CLOTHING any kind/any condition; PAIRED SHOES any kind/any condition; TOWELS; SHEETS, BLANKETS, QUILTS; BACKPACKS; CURTAINS; PURSES, BELTS; TABLECLOTHS, PLACEMATS, STUFFED ANIMALS ….

We cannot take :glass, breakables, electronics, pet beds, bed pillows, carpeting, uniforms, or hotel/hospital linens.
