2015 0301 transitions

Mayor Gere presents a certificate to Eric Shen, with Transition Fidalgo & Friends, for the group’s winning the City Council’s Auto Magic competition among the non-profit groups to save the most car mileage during the last year.

The win will allow Transition Fidalgo to allocate a $1,000 donation to a city project of the group’s choosing.

The Auto Magic competition, held each year by the City Council, puts private groups against each other to see who can most reduce use of single-occupancy vehicle mileage over a one-year period. This award is the third for Transition Fidalgo.
