The city has openings on two boards and commissions, including the Planning Commission and is looking for applicants.

Anacortes Planning Commission

The City of Anacortes is looking for interested residents to fill the remainder of a term on the Anacortes Planning Commission that will expire December 31, 2018.

Applicants should have a desire to serve the community; time to devote to commission responsibilities; and a background and interest in planning, community, and economic development. The Commission meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 pm in the Anacortes City Council Chambers.

Forest Advisory Board

There is an opening for a partial term on the Forest Advisory Board that will expire November 2015.  Applicants should have an interest in the Anacortes community forestlands and parks and recreation. The Board meets the first Thursday of each month at 7pm at the Senior Activity Center.
