In another in a series of Career Education events, the Northwest Career & Technical is hosting a Career Manufacturing Industry Night in Anacortes this Wednesday.

Students, parents, and community members are invited to meet industry professionals who will participate on a speakers’ panel to discuss the entry-level job market landscape for local manufacturing over the next few years.

Manufacturing has gone through an extensive revolution in the past 20 years. This revolution is making working in the manufacturing industry the career pathway of the future—offering livable working wages, good working conditions and an excellent future!

The evening features a panel comprised of various representatives from the industry to speak about the national and local employment trends, job readiness and what it takes to enter in this important career field.

The Academy provides preparatory education to high school students seeking employment in the manufacturing industry upon graduation.
