Two positions are up for election. For Position 1, Incumbent Norma Smith, a Republican, is facing Libertarian Michael Scott. For Position 2, incumbent Dave Hayes, a Republican, is opposed by Republican Brien Lillquist and Democrats David Sponheim and Nick Petrish.

Jason Easton and Greg Nelson are challenging 28-year incumbent Al Littlefield in the District 1 commissioner race for a 6-year term.

Republican Dave Thomas and Democrat Tom Pasma are running for the seat being vacated by Don Munks, who is not running for another four-year term.
Skagit County auditor
Republican Cheryl D. Mitchell is challenging Democratic incumbent Jeanne Youngquist.
Skagit County treasurer
Democrat Bradley Whaley is running against Republican incumbent Katie Jungquist.
Other races are uncontested.
In all races, the top two vote-getters will run in the November General Election.
