Mayor Gere’s first State-of-the-City address is set for Wednesday night, Mar. 12, at 5pm in the City Council chambers of City Hall. The Mayor is also scheduled to give her State-of-the-City speech to local businesses at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon the following day.
The Mayor’s news release says, “Mayor Gere’s guiding principles are reflective in the city’s projects, including 2016 Comprehensive Plan and the city’s new Web site.” A new city Web site is set to launch later this month, according to a source at the city.
The news release goes on, “The Comprehensive Plan will include a community wide visioning process and will help define an integrated strategy for future economic development and design standards that provide clear city administrative processes.”
