City Announcement:
We are asking all of our residential customers that are normally picked-up on Friday, December 20, 2013 to hold their garbage until your next regular service day. At this time you will be able to put out extra garbage equivalent to your normal service. We would appreciate it if your extra refuse is placed in a standard garbage can or in plastic garbage bags that are tied off with at least a four-inch tag end to be used as a handle. This is for the safety and convenience of our Solid Waste crew. (City of Anacortes pre-paid garbage bags are not required.)
Commercial containers will be serviced at our earliest opportunity.
