10am - Start your day off by joining others for the annual town photo by the Anacortes American. Meet at Fifth St. and Commercial Ave. in downtown. If are in the square made by the crosswalks, you'll be in the photo. Only takes a few minutes.
11am - The Anacortes Women of Today invite you to participate in their annual Fourth of July Parade. The parade will travel down Commercial Ave. in downtown. Outgoing School Superintendent Chris Borgen will be the grand marshall.
Around 12:30 pm, or after the parade - A patriotic program is set for Causland Par, featuring children's games and food booths sponsored by local nonprofit organizations. Bring a lunch.
5pm - Rock the Dock will features three musical acts, including Neil Diamond tribute band, Cherry Cherry and local favorites Bobby Holland & Breadline Blues, and Smoke Wagon. That's at Seafarers' Memorial Park.
10:30 pm - Fireworks will be set off near T Ave. and 30th St. on DNS property. For safety reasons, parking will not be allowed at the Cap Sante viewpoint. Free parking is available around the Cap Sante Marina.
