They are looking for good-condition coats, jackets, pants, shorts, shirts, sweatshirts, leggings, hats, gloves and scarves. They ask that all clothing is washed before donating.
Each year, the Salvation Army works closely with the Anacortes School District and local community to sponsor a back-to-school fair for families and students (pre-K to 8 grades) in need of school supplies, gently used clothing, haircuts and other amenities. This year’s fair will be held Saturday, August 17.
If your son or daughter has outgrown or grown tired of their once-favorite pieces, please consider donating them to the school clothing drive. We do not accept undergarments, socks, shoes, or belts.
