The Port will allow vessels ranging from 32 feet and longer to 66-feet for live-aboards. The Port says it will accept up to 100 live-aboard vessels in the marina, it said in a news release on Thursday.
The live-aboard program will require a $50 non-refundable application fee used to conduct background checks and a 4-month minimum stay to qualify for permanent moorage rate. Live-aboards will receive a mobile pump out service on a weekly basis.
Live-aboard applications and rules and regulations can be obtained online at www.portofanacortes.com/liveaboards or by contacting the Harbor Master’s Office at 360-293-0694. We look forward to having you join us at Cap Sante Marina!
Boats must be seaworthy and immediately ready for cruising in local waters. A boat that is being used only to live-aboard and not for the purpose of cruising is not eligible for live-aboard moorage at Cap Sante Marina.
The live-aboard surcharge shall be a 30% surcharge on the permanent moorage fee, in addition to pump out fees of $70.00 per month.
