At the marine terminal there will be improvements funded in part by a grant from Homeland Security. Those include guard shack installation, cross-arms gate installation, improved lighting, security cameras and a TWIC reader. The longshore building will be remodeled
and enlarged.
At Wyman’s Project Pier 1, mitigation will include building demolition and creation of a .73-acre “lagoon” to replace waters of the state.
At Cap Sante Marina projects include installation of security cameras; upgraded marina-wide WiFi; A Dock ramp planning, incubator business expansion planning and study of north breakwater replacement options.
