Beginning January 2013, the Anacortes Public Library will operate under a new schedule: Monday: 10am-7pm; Tuesday-Friday: 11am-7pm; Saturday-Sunday: 12-5pm.
This new schedule is more consistent than the current hours, easier for everyone to remember, and more economical of staff time. The Library will still be open 7 days a week with an extra morning hour on Monday, a uniform closing time on weekdays, and an additional weekend hour.
The schedule was revised as a result of patron and staff input. The Library staff and boards appreciate the input provided by patrons on a recent survey; further results will be announced soon.
