Thursday, November 8 at 1:15pm, the Shell Puget Sound Refinery will hold their annual “Level III Evacuation Drill." The exercise will involve 10 cycles of the “wildcat” siren. This is the same siren that you usually hear on Wednesdays at noon, but it will be repeated 10 times.

There is no cause for alarm. This is an unannounced drill, and a necessary activity to ensure that both our employees and equipment are prepared in case of a real emergency.
