This week at the Farmers Market

Our set-up will be a bit different for the next few weeks as the city begins construction on the Depot grounds.  If you are struggling to find your favorite vendor, please check with the Manager Booth for assistance.

Samish Heirlooms Farm, started by the infamous Bradley Smith of the state of Texas, is offering a free tomato plant to everyone who signs up for his weekly newsletter this Saturday (See Coupon Below).  Bradley is a banterer of the best kind.  He speaks farming quite well and really knows his stuff.  He also brings in beautiful produce and plants each week, so be sure to check his booth out this week.  Feel free to ask where to find him at the Manager Booth. 
 
Jalillah's Cookies, a beacon of the Farmer's Market, has been baking all things delicious for Anacortes since 1997.  Johanne offers a plethora of baked goods each week.  Choose from hot fresh bread to cupcakes to cinnamon rolls.  Her shortbread cookies with pink frosting are so lovely and scruptious.  It's all about the Frosting at Jalillah's Cookies!  (Scroll down for this week's coupon and SAVE.)

This week, find lettuce spinach, radishes, mixed greens, garlic chives, sunflower sprouts, bokchoy, kale, chard, turnips,asparagus, potatoes, kohlrabi, herbs, veggie starts, lots of plants for the garden, so many fabulous cheeses, chevre, feta, mozzarella, cheddar, butter, cream, smoked salmon, shrimp, sockeye salmon, halibut, BBQ sauce, beef, pork, fresh breads, scones, coffee, cinnamon rolls, soaps and lotions, dog treats, spicy kitchen decor, funky clothing, pet accessories, warm socks, sparking jewels, fuzzy scarves, fresh fudge...the list goes on.  We even have eggs!!!
