The race between Karl Yost and Bob Hyde for a School Board seat
continues to be tight. With the latest vote count released Thursday
evening, Yost leads Hyde by just 122 votes out of 5,124 votes counted. Yost has 51.29% of the votes counted to Hyde's 48.81%.
The County Elections Department reports that they've counted 27,073 ballots countywide, with another 8,500 more yet to be counted.
In the mayor's race, no change in the percentages: incumbent Dean Maxwell has 70.06% to Steve Sonnenberg's 29.94%.
The next vote tally is expected Friday evening.
