School Board will wait for election

The Board had the option of appointing an interim Board member to fill in until the November election, in which Karl Yost and Bob Hyde are candidates. They were the only two people to apply for the interim appointment.

School Superintendent Chris Borgen told the Board they could appoint one of the two candidates. appoint a third person, or go along with his recommendation. "Out of equity and fairness to both candidates, I would recommend not selecting either candidate for an interim position."

Board member Carol Pike suggested not appointing anyone. She said that it would take awhile to bring an interim member up to speed and there are only 3 meetings until the election. The Board went along with her.
