(Third of four historic photos)

This photograph was taken at the foot of Commercial Avenue at Ocean Dock, the place where most travelers arrived and departed until autos and roads became more convenient than water travel. Behind the fleet of bikes and cars is the Hotel Taylor. Southward on Commercial is the Anchorage, which became the location for “Mike” Demopoulos’s Marine Supply.
