Trawler Fest, with hundreds of boaters, is in town through the weekend. It’s an annual boat show which includes displays of long-range powerboats and some exhibits on land.
Trawler Fest has several ticket options, including a three-day
package that includes lunch, dinner, seminars and admission to check
out the boats on display for $380. General admission tickets are $15.
Boat show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Trawler Fest is produced by PassageMaker Magazine, based in Annapolis, Md. They brought it to Anacortes for the first time last May and it drew about 1,300 boating enthusiasts.
PassageMaker also hosts Trawler Fests in San Diego, Calif.; Stuart, Fla.; Solomons, N.Y.; and Greenport, Md.
